To celebrate Read Across America week, Mr. Betze, our Interim Superintendent, came in to read Miss Lloyd’s class his very own children’s book, “Vesta on a Vespa,” that he is writing and illustrating. The students were excited to learn that the main character is inspired by Mr. Betze’s cat, named Vesta! The class gave such positive feedback to Mr. Betze and shared what their favorite part of the story was. It was a wonderful experience for both the class and Mr. Betze!
