Janvier Elementary School!  Mrs. Taberne is currently a 2nd Grade ELA Teacher who is in her 5th year in the field of education. Mrs. Taberne has enjoyed teaching 2 nd Grade for the past 4 years and she is very involved in school activities. Specifically, Mrs. Taberne is a member of the school’s Character Education / Safety Climate Committee, Green Team, PTA Committee, and School Spirit Committee. Mrs. Taberne is a graduate of Williamstown High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Rowan University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Rowan University. Mrs. Taberne is dedicated towards meeting the educational needs of all of her students and considers herself a lifelong learner who recognizes the importance of adapting instruction in a manner that celebrates student’s strengths while promoting their growth. Mrs. Taberne values the professional relationships that she has developed with both past and present students and their parents / guardians. In the words of Mary F. Janvier Elementary School Principal, Mr. Henry Kobik, “Mrs. Taberne is a professional who consistently demonstrates exceptional dedication towards the education of her students.” In her spare time, Mrs. Taberne enjoys listening to music, visiting historic sites and museums, remaining up to date on current events, reading, taking walks, traveling, visiting boardwalks and beaches, and spending time with her family and friends.
