Lego Robotics at Janvier!
1st and 2nd Graders Explore the World of Robotics

First and Second Grade students have been working with Lego Robotics during Computer Literacy. Lego Robotics incorporates hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts as pairs of students use Lego WeDo kits and software to build moving Lego models that are computer programmed to do various tasks. In addition to building and using computer programming, various science topics have been discussed, such as simple machines, motion, and how scientists and engineers use robots in real life situations.
