This is the image for the news article titled GC Educational Support Professional of the Year The Township of Franklin Public School District would like to congratulate Ms. Roberta Rissling on her selection as the Gloucester County Education Association Educational Support Professional of the Year.

Ms. Rissling currently serves as an instructional assistant at the Main Road School where she works with students with disabilities. Ms. Rissling is also the president of the Township of Franklin Support Staff Association and has served in that capacity for the past seven years. Through her involvement with community projects, Ms. Rissling has increased the awareness of the importance that support staff members play within the educational system. Ms. Rissling was selected to record a radio public service announcement promoting the state support staff association which aired on BENFM. She is often seen actively recruiting new TFSSA members to participate in state and county events.

Ms. Rissling is a founding member of the GCEA ESP Committee and serves on the NJEA Paul Dimitriatis Rights Committee, the NJEA Editorial Committee, and is a Delegate Assembly Alternate. Her duties also include being a member of the GCEA Executive Committee.
